Coventry and Warwickshire returns to The Meetings Show

Conference, exhibition and meeting venues in Coventry and Warwickshire will highlight how the region excels in delivering sustainable events with significant social value at The Meetings Show.

Conference Coventry and Warwickshire will be joined by seven partners as it showcases the business events in the heart of the UK to a global audience at The Meetings Show.

The convention bureau, which is part of Destination Coventry, will be on stand D43 at the show at ExCel London from 19 to 20 June, and will be joined by CV Life Venues, Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, No Ordinary Hospitality Management, Warwick Conferences, Woodland Grange, National Conference Centre (NCC) Venues Group and the British Motor Museum.

The partnership brings together a total of 13 diverse venues which showcase the vast variety available across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Research conducted this year has shown that venues in Coventry and Warwickshire strike the balance of affordability and value, with a survey of more than 21 venues, including many of the stand partners, highlighting the average day delegate rate (DDR) was £43 plus VAT per person.

Conference Coventry & Warwickshire has also launched a new initiative which easily enables event organisers to give back to the local community by making a donation to a local food bank.

The Final Course, which officially launched in May 2024, is set to be implemented by venues across the region and allows delegates to donate as part of their dining experience.

Warwick Conferences operates four flexible, conference meeting and event venues on the University of Warwick campus. It will be showcasing its award-winning team, ECOsmart Platinum status in recognition of industry-leading commitment to environmental sustainability and why it was named Business Events Venue of the Year at the West Midlands Tourism Awards.

The Heart of England Conference and Events Centre is nestled in 160 acres of Warwickshire countryside, but still conveniently located near major road and nail networks. It is home to one of the largest collections of team-building activities and equipment in the UK and a range of accommodation options, from a 4-star B&B and a log cabin, to glamping pods and camping pitches.

No Ordinary Hospitality Management will be showcasing four exceptional venues at The Meetings Show, each with its own distinctive history and setting. This includes heritage venues Coombe Abbey Hotel, St Mary’s Guildhall and Stoneleigh Abbey, while also representing luxury corporate events venue IXL Events Centre which is on the site of Dallas Burston Polo Club.

CV Life Venues will also be joining the Coventry and Warwickshire delegation to highlight the event space available at Coventry cultural gems Herbert Art Gallery & Museum and Coventry Transport Museum. Coventry Transport Museum offers the opportunity to hold celebrations surrounded by a selection of historic cars, with The Herbert sitting at the heart of Coventry’s cultural landscape.

NCC Venues Group will be presenting its diverse portfolio of venues at the show which can cater for a wide range of events. The group comprises Best Western Plus Manor Hotel, The Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa, and the National Conference Centre.

The British Motor Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars and delegates enjoy free access to the collection during their events. The museum’s conference centre has capacity for up to 600 delegates and 65 acres of outdoor event space.

Woodland Grange, an award-winning residential conference venue and hotel, will be profiling its 114 bedrooms, 32 meeting rooms and space for up to 200 delegates. The venue offers a quiet, retreat-style setting, but in the heart of the motorway network.

Conference Coventry and Warwickshire is a one-stop organisation for advice and guidance on planning and booking an event in the region – and gives organisers the opportunity to tap into local expertise and industry knowledge.

The service is free of charge and can help with everything from finding a venue and booking accommodation, to putting organisers in touch with local suppliers to make events a success.
